Angels Hotel in Uddingston is looking for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our bustling, friendly and talented team.

The successful candidate must have a flexible attitude, previous experience working in a busy kitchen, food safety training along with relevant culinary qualifications, attention to detail with great time keeping and reliability.

We will reward and invest in you as you grow in a kitchen renowned for producing the best food in Lanarkshire.

40 Hours 2 Positions availble

We are looking for experienced Bar/ Waiting staff to join our team who are passionate about people – meeting people, talking to them and engaging with them.  After all, it is the sociable thing to do and it’s what you are best at.  You will be a confident, personable individual who is friendly and approachable. 

  • Have a minimum of 1 year’s previous bar/waiting experience within a similar business.
  • Great organizational and people skills.
  • Great time keeping and reliability.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Be a champion of excellent service within the hospitality industry.

Salary: £9.75 per hour. 42 hour week.

Angels Hotel in Uddingston is looking for an experienced Chef De Partie to join a busy, friendly team eager to reopen and showcase their talents.

The successful candidate must have a flexible attitude and a willingness to learn, previous experience working in a busy kitchen, experience in maintaining stock control, excellent training capabilities food safety training along with relevant culinary qualifications, attention to detail with great time keeping and reliability.

You will be invested in and rewarded as you become part of a family business established over 50 years.

 

48 Hours

Joining as Sous Chef means joining a successful operating, team focused kitchen, where excellent food quality, presentation and menu creation is delivered consistently.

  • Ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Menu design and creating menu specifications to ensure consistency of dishes and control food costs.
  • Inspiring and managing the kitchen team through motivation, sharing knowledge, training and development of chefs within the team.
  • Being responsible for various administrative and financial tasks such as menu planning, costing, and budgeting and creating staff rotas.

42 Hours

We are looking for experienced Duty Manager to join our team who are passionate about people – meeting people, talking to them and engaging with them.  After all, it is the sociable thing to do and it’s what you are best at.  You will be a confident, personable individual who is friendly and approachable. 

  • Have a minimum of 1 year’s previous bar/waiting experience within a similar business.
  • Great organizational and people skills.
  • Great time keeping and reliability.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Be a champion of excellent service within the hospitality industry.

2 Shifts 8 hours in total

  • Maintain the grounds and exterior landscaping 
  • Respond to requests regarding minor maintenance issues that occur throughout the day
  • Record daily service work
  • General ad hoc tasks

As the ideal Groundskeeper you must have: 

  • An organised approach to tasks and excellent attention to detail
  • Great time-keeping and reliability
  • Effective communication
  • Being an excellent team player with the ability to work effectively alone
  • Ability to follow instructions and carry out tasks accurately
  • Complying with company, legal and statutory H&S regulations

(4 shifts) 16 hours

• Ensuring all areas of the premises are thoroughly cleaned using the correct materials as outlined by the Lisini cleaning policy and standards.

• Deep cleaning and ensuring the relevant records are kept up to date.

• Notify Management of any repairs that need to be carried out.

• Complying with company, Legal and Statutory H & S regulations.
