Grounds Maintenance/Cellar Person, Angels Hotel

Our Cellar Manager is tasked with the very important role of looking after our Beer, Spirits & Wine.
It’s a big responsibility….delivering the perfect pint to our customers requires our equipment to be in tip top condition.
You will be responsible for stock management, cellar cleanliness and maintenance.
Alongside this there will be some general building maintenance and management in those early hours before the rest of the Management team start.
Work starts around 6am to 8am depending on deliveries so you need to be an early riser.
Some cellar experience preferred as part of previous role, full training available.
This position is instrumental to the distribution of products in the hotel.

• To organize and monitor inventory levels to maximize efficiency.
• To organize the reception of products. • To organize the rotation of products.
• To organise and manage the cellar • To assist in procurement requirements
• To restore products daily in bars



Purpose of role:
Project based role carrying out reactive and cyclical preventative maintenance tasks to ensure that guest bedrooms, bathrooms, public areas and exterior grounds are immaculate and maintained to the highest possible standard.
 Work within the Maintenance Department, and closely alongside Housekeeping. Ability to work effectively alone.

Key responsibilities:
Participate in maintenance activities such as installing, repairing, maintaining, and decorating within the property to the required company standards.
• Provide electrical support and assistance throughout hotels.
•  Conduct pre-planned and reactive maintenance such as tiling, grouting, siliconing etc.
• Grounds & exterior landscaping to be kept immaculate
•  To work with meticulous attention to detail at all times.
•  Ensure that all tasks and requests are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner
•  Maintain a professional standard of conduct, dress, uniform, and appearance.
• Participate in a Planned Maintenance regime to all areas of the hotel to include maint. plant, public areas, and guest bedrooms on a daily basis.
• Update record sheets and logs resulting from Planned Preventative Maintenance practices.
