Lisini Units Drinks Ambassador

JOB SUMMARY

As a Drinks Ambassador within Lisini, your role is pivotal in setting high standards, providing training, & driving the growth of our drinks category. This Position requires an understanding of mixology and drink trends and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the bar team & management to enhance the overall drinks offering, service quality & Contribute to the bar development.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational
• To ensure all drinks-related set-up standards are met. This includes stocking and arranging all necessary supplies behind the bar, including garnishes, spirits, soft drinks and equipment to facilitate a smooth and effective operational bar for the team.  
• To ensure the smooth and effective opening and closing of the bar each operational day. This will include monitoring closing procedures, securing inventory, ensuring Logit compliance is adhered to, as well as maintaining cleanliness to ensure the bar is left in optimal condition for the next day’s operation.
• Supporting management with line checks to identify key areas of risk.
• To identify Equipment Needs to ensure perfect delivery of drinks by conducting Monthly Equipment audits.
• To monitor point of sale in the unit Including Menus, Table Talkers & any Promotional Posters and identify when reprints are needed and feedback to drinks development manager.
• To ensure the unit is on track to achieve sales targets set out by the Drinks Development Manager & request assistance with incentivisation & marketing where needed.

Product
Responsible for product placement in all bars is in line with standards set out by Drinks Development Manager. Requesting additional display items where necessary.
To develop your own knowledge of new and existing products.
To assist drinks development manager with developing future menus & Seasonal Promotions
To develop potential upselling opportunities by researching current trends.
To keep up with industry trends and convey fresh concepts to the Drinks Development Manager.
To attend drinks trade shows to develop the Lisini drinks range.

 

Training
To be confident in delivering training to the team, this will include on the spot training when a training requirement has been identified.
To liaise with General Manager & Drinks Development Manager regarding new staff in the business and ensure training is delivered during their induction period.
To ensure cheat sheets are adhered to, visible and in adequate quantity to staff.
Responsible for leading quarterly training sessions along with the Drinks Development Manager.
To ensure all Licensing standards are met Including Challenge 25

Communication
Quarterly meetings with other Unit Drinks ambassadors.
Responsible for promotional / Seasonal activity in relation to drinks and to ensure staff communication and briefing, including Sales Incentives.
To encourage upselling & maximising sales opportunities.
To engage with bar teams to gain insight on current menus and promotions and feedback any new ideas to Drinks Development Manager.

Key Requirements
An inherent passion for the drinks industry, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and other beverages including growing nonalcoholic trends.
Demonstrates a deep understanding of various types of drinks, including their origins, production methods, flavour profiles and serving techniques.
Able to confidently communicate and educate others about different drinks, their characteristics, and how to enjoy them responsibly.
Charismatic and outgoing personality that engages and excites others about the drinks being promoted.
Able to conduct themself with professionalism and integrity while representing a brand or product.
Being able to adapt to different environments and audiences, whether it’s at a corporate event, a bar or a trade show.
Contribute to creating innovative and enticing drink recipes and develop unique marketing strategies to promote them.
Strong sales skills to increase sales drives and promote brand loyalty among consumers and trade partners.
